THE TEAM

SALES & ADMIN

David Green, Founding Partner

Few executives in the Napa Valley have a better track record for growth or have had a hand in the success of more wine brands, than David Green. David served as GM of Lancaster Estate Winery, was founding CEO of Dana Estates, and also helped Joel Gott Wines rise to the national prominence it enjoys today. After leaving Joel Gott, he established a consulting firm, David Green & Co., and began advising clients such as Vice Versa, Gary Farrell, Three Sticks, Lede Family Wines, and many more. Green is the sales, marketing and thought leader for the firm.

Julie Koetzner, Brand Manager

With well over 30 years immersed in marketing fine wine, St. Helena native Julie Koetzner comes to Royal Wine & Spirits after a 16-year tenure at Bounty Hunter Rare Wine & Spirits, where as Director of Marketing and Catalog Development, she presided over exponential growth in revenue. Additionally, she has extensive and broad experience as the executive Marketing Manager for Domaine Chandon in Yountville, as well as positions at Charles Krug, Wineshopper.com, and Benchmark HR. Julie brings to Royal Wine & Spirits formidable skills in project management, accounting, administration, and logistics.

Hannah Green, Marketing Director

Napa native, Hannah Green, has a background that spans creative agencies and in-house marketing teams, with a focus on the hospitality and beverage sectors. Hannah brings a strategic focus and brand-oriented eye to her work for Royal Wine & Spirit’s family of brands.

WINEMAKING

Maayan Koschitzky, Partner

Born and raised in Israel and firmly ensconced in the Napa Valley for over a decade, Maayan Koschitzky is Director of Winemaking at Atelier Melka, with a long list of formidable clients past and present. Today he is one of the most admired and respected winemakers in California. Since 2017 he has partnered with David Green to oversee the production of all the Royal Wine & Spirits brands. With the arrival of Remington Jorgensen in 2022, he transitioned to a more mentoring, collaborating, and sourcing role.

Remington Jorgensen, Winemaker

Remie Jorgensen produces the Royal Wine & Spirits brands. She came to the firm in 2022 from Alejandro Bulgheroni Estate, after an impressive series of stages at Château de Beaucastel, Rajat Parr’s Domaine de la Côte, and Opus One. Not many winemakers can say they already wanted to be a winemaker when they were a sophomore in high school. And while she was earning a degree in Viticulture and Enology at Washington State University, Jorgensen embarked on a series of extremely impressive internships that gave her a keen appreciation for the level of attention to detail required to make world-class wine. As David told her when he hired her, “Your job is to teach me as much as you learn here.”
